so I live in Idaho, and according to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , we have the worst drivers.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

It was pointed out to me by GEM earlier today, and here is a link !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

This has a few of the things that have happened to me in under 1 month of having my license in Idaho.

SO YOUR SAYING THAT I AM A RUDE DRIVER BECAUSE I LIVE IN IDAHO, YOU LIAR!!!!

okay not really, but I can confirm that a lot of Idaho drivers are idiots, and are really rude, I was dueing right under the speed limit going down a hill a couple of days ago (I've only had my license for about a month, and so I was warned I would lose my driving privledges if I got caught doing something stupid) and I was tailgated by a Jeep... at night... with no one around. and the day before that I was tailgated by a stupid sti driver as I was doing right about the speed limit which in reality is really slow for that road, 35 on a 4 lane highway(he could have passed becuase this was also at night on a 4 lane highway with 2 lanes each direction and there was no one in the other lane, but he decided to be an idiot and just stay in my lane, so I turned off the highway and him pass.

And a few days prior, I was undercutted on the right side as there were 2 lanes of traffic merging into 1 (and yes there were cars in front of me, it wasn't like he was going to get where he was going any faster). and earlier that day as I was driving past a parking lot, a driver decides to pass a guy on the right shoulder (on a 2 lane road at a 4 way stop...with a creek on the right that he could have well driven into) the guy who was passed was waiting for another car to go so he could turn left. and the car behind did not have the right of way at all.

so yes, in a little bit less than one month of Idaho drivers licenseship, I can confirm that Idaho drivers are in fact very rude, and often idiots.

PS, I may drive kind of slowly (usually right at or below the speed limit) but I don't tailgate, and signal most if not all lane changes and turns and I try to stay out of peoples blindspots. and this is something that 98% of other idaho drivers don't do.

I din't think of this when I wrote this comment, but another thing was one day, I almost hit another car on a 3 lane one-way road because I was going from the left lane from when I turned on to the road and I had to get over to the right lane becuase I was needed to turn right a couple blocks away, and there was a car (it looked like an integra to me) driving in my blind spot... at dusk... and it was pretty dark by this point... and he didn't have his lights on, and so I didn't see him until I was almost about to get over and he honked.

I also once saw someone go over 2 lanes of traffic, it was a 3 lane highway, with 2 lanes coming the other way (south I believe), and one lane on the side that I was on (going north), and so a green jeep decided to go into the FAR left lane of traffic, or the southern bound RIGHT lane of traffic. and did I mention this was going up a hill with a bunch of cars coming the other way, and somehow he mananged to not get himself killed.

so yes. Idaho's drivers are mostly full of idiots, many people roll through stop signs, I saw 2 people roll through 2 different stop signs within 2 blocks of each other, some people assume at 4 way stops that even if you were there first, that they should go first and they still go before you, and other various stupid stuff.

and strangely enough, we have really cheap insurance here, along with lousy roads and crap road maintence (potholes galore, which is why I'm glad I drive an SUV, along with having to haul a lot of crap around) a lot of the time and windy 2 lane highways with speeds of up to 75 mph, seems like a great combination (not really).
